How To Get Your Blog Posts Indexed In Google In Under 2 Hours
December 14th, 2008 . by Jeff McCallI discovered just by chance that my last blog post was actually indexed in Google within 2 hours of me actually posting it. Pretty good going eh?
Well as this is a pretty new blog it was fairly easy to determine why. So I want to share with you what you can do to your blog so you can get your posts indexed just as quickly.
I’ve made a short video to show you exactly what you need to do. Watch it now by clicking on the screen shot below. The video will open in a new window. Go to it!
Here’s the list of sites you need to copy and paste in your blog settings as shown in the video.
http://rpc.pingomatic.com/
http://www.blogpeople.net/servlet/weblogUpdates
http://bulkfeeds.net/rpc
http://ping.myblog.jp
http://ping.bitacoras.com
http://ping.bloggers.jp/rpc/
http://bblog.com/ping.php
Don’t go overboard and try to find more services to add. If you do, you risk duplicating notifications that will make your pings too spammy and may work against you with Google.
Be successful.

Hi Jeff,
In my visits to all the blogs, today is the day I start on the letter J, so I would have been coming here anyway…but I saw your name listed on Gary Simpson’s blog as being someone we could turn to for html help.
I would very much like to ask you a couple of questions to help me fix a problem I have…one that if I don’t get corrected may mean that I’ll never see the kind of results I’m hoping for.
If you could please contact me so we might speak in Skype, Google Chat, or by phone…I would be most grateful.
Having said that, I’m off to watch your video on getting indexed quickly!
Thanks,
Honey

Hello!
Nice to meet you, you are in fact the final visit of the day, I try and visit ten people a day and you are number ten. Thanks for the advice about getting on Google, I did add Wordpress SEO but to be honest I get into a mind funk with Google. Surely if you have something on the web and you put something specific into Google then of course you are going to be number one? Anyway, that is just me……
Best wishes,
Ruth
